For every advertising agency, innovation is the need of the hour to stay relevant. That’s why Genesis, with all its various verticals, has now come up with its own films department and that’s the first ever for any Kolkata agency.

With a team of 10 people comprising editors, animators, writers, directors, executive producers, post production managers, the films division is headed by Sourya Deb who has over 12 years of experience in advertising and has worked with agencies like Ogilvy & Mather Kolkata, Ogilvy & Mather Bombay, Bates CHI & Partners, Rediffusion Y & R, Response India and SoS Ideas.

our growth

In the last financial year, under the supervision of Sourya, the films department has made around 150 films for different government departments of West Bengal and private clients. Of late, this division is venturing into producing and directing numerous web series, films and shorts for local and national digital platforms.

With the volume of work going up and team size increasing at a rapid pace, the films department of Genesis is ready to conquer horizons in the entertainment industry.
